There are two major airports that we suggest flying into:

• Milano Malpensa Airport in Milan, Italy and then renting a car. It’s about ~2 hr drive.

• Genova City Airport (MUCH smaller airport) in Genoa, Italy and then renting a car. It’s about ~45-50 min drive.

We will provide transportation to and from Hemanaire, below are nearby places to stay:

• Hemanaire- We have their two properties blocked until March 15th, 2026. Book using “lizanddoug” code (If you’re running into issues, please email the property and state that you’re coming for our wedding).

I do want to make note that to rent a car internationally, you do need an international drivers permit. You can easily get this at AAA (which we did within 10 minutes on the way to the airport for our flight to Japan, thanks to the lovely reminder email that the Japanese car rental company sent that referenced this key piece of paper unbeknownst to us:) )
